About the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid
Porsche is a pioneer of the performance plug-in hybrid drivetrain, a system that now powers many of the fastest cars in the world. With the Cayenne E-Hybrid, Porsche merged this incredible performance with the practicality of an SUV. That means a 0-60 time of just 4.6 seconds in a vehicle that will seat 5 and still have room for golf bags in the back. The Cayenne E-Hybrid is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 paired with a hybrid drivetrain that produces a total system output of 463 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. You have the option to harness all of that power for when you want to go fast, but there is also an all-electric mode that allows you to save gas on your daily commute. The Cayenne E-Hybrid offers the kind of versatility that you rarely find in a performance vehicle.
What The Critics Say
"While making anything that weighs more than two tons move gracefully is challenging, the engineers in Stuttgart were successful with the Cayenne." — Car & Driver
"It was a pleasure to wring out in the Santa Monica Mountains, with the electric motor ever ready to provide a jolt of right-now torque as the boosted six spools into action with a not-unforgettable engine and exhaust note. The overall experience driving the S wasn’t so much better that it would outweigh the E-Hybrid’s ample electric range and lower price." — Autoblog
What’s New for 2024
The whole Cayenne lineup got a redesign for 2024, which includes subtle, but nonetheless extensive, exterior design updates. Power output has increased as well, to 463 horsepower. The hybrid system has a bigger battery, and the onboard charger is now faster, so you get more all-electric range from less charging time. The changes to the interior are where you’ll spot the biggest differences. The steering wheel has been swapped out for the one from the 911, and the gear selector has been moved from the center console to the dash. There is also now an available second infotainment touchscreen on the passenger side.
Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Features

Newest Porsche PHEV Powertrain
A 3.0L mono-turbo V6 and electric motor combine to give the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid a total system output of 463 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It can rocket from 0 to 60 in just 4.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 158 MPH. A new Tiptronic S transmission offers significantly faster, smoother, and more comfortable shifts. Standard Porsche Traction Management (PTM) delivers clear benefits in terms of driving dynamics, agility, traction control and off-road capabilities. Standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) provides confidence across any road surface. Thanks to the low-end torque produced by the electric motor, the E-Hybrid will hit 60 mph faster than the V8-equipped Cayenne S.

Battery Charging & Range
Housed in the rear of the chassis beneath the load floor, the Cayenne E-Hybrid stores its electric power inside of a 25.9 kWh battery pack. On pure electric power, the Cayenne E-Hybrid can travel up to 83 miles per hour. Using a 230-volt, 32 amp connection and the optional 11 kW onboard charger, it is possible to recharge a fully depleted battery in only 2.5 hours. You’re also able to control and monitor the charging process via Porsche Communication Management (PCM) or remotely when using the Porsche Connect app.

Interior & Exterior Enhancements
Unique enhancements found on the exterior of the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid include Acid Green brake calipers and matching outlines around all of the badges. Mirroring these distinctive hybrid accents on the interior, the cabin features Acid Green needles on the Sport Chrono dial and the tachometer as well as hybrid-specific displays in the gauge cluster and within the PCM screen. For the first time, Porsche will offer a head-up display. This customizable, full-color display places vital information such as driving speed, engine speed, driving mode, and navigation information directly within the driver’s line of sight.
